Paul Rudd’s Naked November 18, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — artdesignmusicfood @ 4:14 am

Everyone knows that SNL generally blows, but with the recent reappearance of Tina Fey, it’s been tolerable for the first time since Will Ferrell left.  There’s been alot of talk that with Obama being elected, you might as well sound the death kneel for the show, but they pulled out all the stops this last week.  That’s right, I’m talking about the most amazing host ever:  PAUL RUDD.   The anticipation was palipable….and it (almost) didn’t disappoint.  The homoerotic references were a bit heavy-handed.  Zing!  But you’ll get no complaints from me because OMFG, Paul Rudd’s naked….Yeah, I feel alittle like a creepy pervert….but I’m okay with that.  That, my friend, is the power of Paul Rudd.

Awesome Election Ad Nauseum November 13, 2008

Yeah yeah yeah, I know, the election’s over and you’re all (the 3 of you, that is…) sooo over all the hoopla leading up to it. Barack won, and everything is perfect and right in the world, but I gotta post this because it’s pretty great.

Nice try, but I’m NEVER buying those chinos… November 13, 2008

It’s that time of year!  That’s right, time for the new round of the ubiquitous holiday GAP ads.  Last year presented my favorite of all time…obviously, I’m talking about the almost too awesome to be true comedic couple, Will Arnett and Amy Poehler.  Seriously, I would trade my parents for them.  In a heartbeat.  If they asked to adopt my 24-year old self, I’d drop you guys like it was hot, Sheila and Rich.

Obviously, there’s no way this year’s ads can live up to that one, but they really don’t disappoint.  As a very close runner up, I give you:  Don Draper.  gap-ad-jon-hammThe others feature some of my other favs: Jason Sudeikis (and other SNL guys) and Jason Bateman.

I gotta give it to GAP.  Their clothing does absolutely nothing for me, but boy do they target my absolute favorite celebrities.  Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Mad Men…check.  So, I guess they’re totally worthless ads because they’ll never get me to buy flat front chinos, but damn do I love to look at them….

All Hail, the Future Ruler of the World, Amelie Jr. November 13, 2008

Normally, I don’t care much for cute children videos.  But, this one melted my cold, black heart.  Also, she’s scarily smart for a 2-3 year old.  That’s what reeled me in.  All hail, because this little girl will one day be running the show.  And by show, I mean, the world…
